About the Hungarian Repository of Values in Vojvodina

We would like to gather all our local treasures (intellectual, human, material and natural) on our website. Legally, the identification, classification and protection of national values is carried out in the Pyramid of National Values, in a complex, bottom-up system.The discovery of values starts locally, as local values are known best by the inhabitants. The values of local repositories can develop into regional values or, eventually, hungaricums. Anyone can suggest a value into the local repository by filling in a certain form and sending it to the local repository committees.

One of the most important provisions of the 2012. XXX. and the 2015. LXXX. laws on national values and hungaricums is the enabling of national value gathering outside Hungary. According to this, by the suggestion of the Hungarian Constant Meeting (MÁÉRT), the Committees of Value Repository of Hungarians Abroad was formed. The main task of the Committee of Value Repository of Vojvodina is the identification, registration and the introduction of national values of Hungarians in Vojvodina into the repository of the abroad repository section, the national repository and into the section of hungaricums.
